Get kitted out

During winter, you’ll find a Bayard Sports outlet in the resort, offering skis, snowboards and other outdoors equipment for hire. In summer, we rent out mountain bikes and climbing gear.

For everything else, Zermatt has several sporting goods stores offering a large selection of sportswear and material. Our concierge will be happy to share recommendations.

Medical assistance

Access to care

In the event of a medical emergency, qualified doctors and the team at Air Zermatt are located in Zermatt and can be contacted immediately. As medical professionals are based in the village, consultations take place there rather than at the resort. The nearest hospital is in Visp, approximately 40 minutes by car from Zermatt. For minor concerns and first aid, our team maintains a carefully stocked medical cabinet on site.
