Swisstainable
Swisstainable is a sustainability program implemented by Switzerland Tourism to help guide local tourism businesses on their journey towards greater sustainability. As of 2022, we have achieved Level I, "Committed", which demonstrates our commitment to improving our impact on the world around us. We are working hard to strengthen our operations, in order to advance to Level II and eventually Level III.
U.N. GLOBAL COMPACT
Initiated by the United Nations, the UN Global Compact is the world’s largest corporate sustainability initiative. By signing our letter of commitment to this pact, we commit ourselves in a responsible and transparent way to progress each year in the four main themes of the UN Global Compact, all linked to the United Nation’s sustainable development goals: Human Rights, Labor, Environment and Anti-Corruption. Each year, our company publishes a “Communication on Progress” which illustrates, in an internationally recognized way, our progress for the year in these areas. UNESCO SUSTAINABLE TRAVEL PLEDGE
We have signed the UNESCO Sustainable Travel Pledge, which aims to promote sustainable travel, community resilience and heritage conservation globally. By signing this pledge, we are publicly committing to taking actions that will reduce the environmental impact of our business, while raising awareness and helping travelers make more sustainable travel choices.
